Happily married, two kids. Purveyor of fine music & sound.

Born in 1976 into a very musical family (Herwig Duchateau was my father, Jo Duchateau is my uncle) and from the age of 6 until the age of 17 I have spent a lot of weekends and holidays in Studio ACE (Aartselaar) and Studio Crossroads (Asse) with my father, as well as helping out during live concerts with sound-checks etc.

Always kept on playing the drums at home, but have not played in a band since my short musical career from the age of 15 till 21 years old.

Inactive in the music business for over 20 years but restarted the fire since 2018. Owner of a small recording studio “Stand Out” in Ekeren since 2021, and very keen on learning more about mixing, live mixing, music production and sound engineering.
