Francesco is a passionate, resilient and clever worker. He is resourceful and creative when coming up with solutions. He's a team worker, and a great one at that. My name is Gianluca Mazzanti, I'm 31 years old and I'm half Colombian and half Italian. I was born in Bogotá but I've been living and working in Rome for the past 10 years. I speak both Italian and English fluently, although Spanish is my native language.
I have worked in Italy, Colombia and the U.S. with networks such as Univision, Discovery Channel, National Geographic, RAI, ZDF-ARTE, Lux Vide (Freemantle) and many independent production companies during the last decade.
In the past years, I've gained experience working in different positions at all levels of the entertainment industry, such as screenwriter, copywriter, line producer, production coordinator, unit production manager, 1st and 2nd AD, among others. Thanks to this, I have a great understanding of how a production works and I'm able to cooperate and communicate with different departments.
Currently, I live and work in Rome as a focus puller and camera operator, but I'm willing to move if the project requires to (in the past 6 years I've worked abroad in Chile, Israel, Colombia and the U.S.).
I am a hard and reliable worker, able to adapt to stressful and fast-paced work environments. I value teamwork on set and lead my department efficiently. I have a strong sense of responsibility towards the job and the people I work with, hence, I fully commit to the project.
