I have edited a promotional social video for Drogheda community to promote the annual pride festival

I created a series of short promotional videos for Dillon Engineering with the aim of attracting both candidates and companies to avail of their recruiting services.

I write articles about culture and tourist locations in Portugal

• My work on this video started in post-production as a video editor after the recordings were made. It consisted of editing the video from scratch as this is a pilot for social media, the first video of a new series called “É MUITO FÁCIL” (“It’s Really Easy”).  I received three scripts from the producer to direct the editing. I created the subtitles, downloaded photos, videos, Brazilian songs and sound effects.
• I spent a total of 4 weeks completing the editing job, the most challenging element being the problems they had with lighting. I resolved this through the use of video effects.  
• I used my own initiative and creativity to add humour to the video, created the introduction and named the video, none of which were in the script or work instructions.  Eamonn was very happy with my ideas and agreed that they contributed to the quality of this work.

• Worked as a photographer, capturing a series of photos for publication on the Elta School’s new website to illustrate the merits of Graphic Novel approach to teaching English. The website is still under construction.
• Filmed, directed and edited an interview with a famous Korean social media personality to promote the company’s name in Korea.

Worked as a video editor before being promoted to Vision Mixer Director  and lighting. 

Edited content submitted by journalists and camera operator, using videos and photos downloaded from the internet to add interest. Predominantly used Media Composer Avid and Final Cut to complete this work

Supervised classes of third level students studying journalism and cinema during my university degree.  Taught students how to use the professional video editing program “Final Cut”.

Worked as a video editor predominantly on two main TV programmes “Se Jogue” and “Câmera Express”

Worked as a studio camera & lighting operator on an independent entertainment programme (cooking show) on TV Salvador, as well as an interview programme focused on teaching and education. Recorded and edited social events such as weddings, anniversaries, concerts and clips for bands, mainly using Photoshop and Adobe Premiere

Camera operator and Video Editor (nonlinear editing) creating videos for bands, concerts, gigs and promotional events.  Filmed and edited videos for “Carnaval de Salvador”, promoting gigs such as Timbalada and Araketo. 

Worked in the beginning as a freelance camera assistant, and after a while as a freelance camera operator filming social events such as weddings, birthday parties and promotional videos for companies including as Petrobras and Polo Industrial de Camaçari. My footage appears at 1m31second.
