Master graduate from the National Institute of Performing Arts and Broadcasting Technics in Belgium (INSAS), I have been thoroughly studying the sound post-production industry for the past five years. Eager to find out more about my future job to be, I decided to also learn on the spot as much as I could and so, have done many internships in several sound post-production areas.
Sound editing is what captivates me most. To me, it’s like writing stories with sounds as some kind of magic power. If you compared it to music, it would be as if I was composing my songs with murmurs, a door squeak, muffled footsteps, or a gentle breeze … any sound can be turned into a beautiful melody !
I love meeting new people to collaborate with, learn from and experience sound with. Don’t hesitate to “scroll down” to learn more. During three weeks, I learnt about all the technicalities of live television, how to prepare the studio for the show. I saw how to mix live, I even was able to mix a duplex even though I never had done it before. I learnt how to place a mike on a guest or a journalist. I assisted and helped on the two big nights event of the French general elections, and on a special night about Oliver Stone's film The Putin Interviews with the director on the studio set. I learnt mainly about the technical aspect of sound captation in general.
