Summary
Sharad Kaplingad has been cutting films for over 8 years.
Jeez! It sounds odd to talk about yourself in the third person. Let me switch it up a bit.
I intended to be an engineer at first and found my calling in film-making during the years in engineering college. So, I decided to be an animator (what!). One thing lead to another and I ended up as a fully-fledged video editor/motion graphics artist.
This fortunate turn of events has lead me to work with the wonderful folks at Accenture, Amazon, Paypal, Samsonite, Tanishq, Phonepe, Deloitte, JLL to name a few.
I use Premiere, After Effects, Resolve etc. but who cares; after all, it is not the tools we use that make us good, but rather how we employ them.
I live in Bengaluru, Karnataka with my wife and our dog. I love to travel, eat, watch movies and sleep. Above all, I love what I do.
