Soy Diego Galán, y soy cineasta. Nací y crecí en Madrid, pero pasé la mayor parte de mi juventud en Brooklyn (Nueva York) donde me gradué en cine en la prestigiosa New York Film Academy (NYFA). A los 15 años estrené mi primer cortometraje "Lucía" en la 53 edición del Festival de San Sebastián en la sección Escuelas de Cine.

Posteriormente, dirigí varios cortometrajes en N.Y, donde desarrollé mi narrativa visual, como “Glass Ballerinas” o “Aubrey”, rodado en super 16mm y escrito por Michel Duthin (Guionista premiado en Cannes por el cortometraje Bisbille 1988).

A mi regreso a Madrid, me encaminé hacia la dirección de anuncios de televisión y anuncios publicitarios. Destacan mis innovadores trabajos de spots de moda para El Corte Inglés. Mi estilo original le da a mis obras un lenguaje visual muy camaleónico.

I'm Diego Galán and I'm a filmmaker. I was born and raised in Madrid, but spent most of my youth in Brooklyn (N.Y.) where I graduated in filmmaking from the prestigious New York Film Academy (NYFA). At the age of 15, I premiered my first short film "Lucía" at the 53rd edition of the San Sebastian Festival in the Film Schools section.

Later, I directed several short films in N.Y, where I developed my visual narrative, such as “Glass Ballerinas” or “Aubrey”, shot in super 16mm and written by Michel Duthin (Screenwriter awarded at Cannes for the short film Bisbille 1988).

Upon my return to Madrid, I headed towards the direction of advertising tv spots and commercials. My innovative works of fashion spots for El Corte Inglés stand out. My original style gives my works a very chameleonic visual language.
