Film plot: 
In the Middle Ages, in the mountains of Piedmont, the struggle between heretics and crusaders raged, sowing terror in the region. Agata lives in a convent in the forest, sheltered from these events. One day, while collecting wood with other nuns, she finds a wounded and dying man and wants to help him.
