Summary

My name is Lizette Araceli Vargas.

I currently work as a cine-photographer and photographer in France. I'm specialized in cinematography. I directed photography in several fictional shortsfilms, like the documentary "Primitivo"; several video clips, among them "Negra calma". My last project as director of photography was the fictional short film “The clay and the girl” in Greece. I was the first photography assistant in a long film of a docu-fiction called "La vida es un Carnaval" in co-production France and Mexico. I have worked as a temporary staff in the large footage of "Los años azules", and during the last 4 years I have assisted the camera and lighting in different fictions in Mexico and France.

I have taken lighting and cinematographic photography workshops with photographers such as Dean Cundey, ASC in his Master Class and Erika Licea, AMC in the CUEC, among others. It was in a year exchange in France, where I also had the opportunity to participate in several fiction projects as a gaffer and first assistant cameraman, among them a couple of video clips, which have been winners of several international awards.

I had also worked for television events as a camera operator in France and Greece, as well as as a photographer, studio photographer and as a videographer/independent photographer in Mexico and Greece.

I share my demo reel to show a bit of my job until now: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=KFNdTTTdwrA
