During the winter of 2018 I was lucky enough to tour with the Grammy award winning band ‘Devotchka' (Little Miss Sunshine, Gears of War, Everything is Illuminated, Weeds).

I was acting primarily as a guitar tech for lead singer Nick Urata and session musician Nick Luca (Claexico, Iron & Wine). I was also acting as tech for drummer and percussionist Shawn King. 

However, as every member of Devotchka is a multi-instrumentalist I had to become proficient in teching instruments such as trumpet, theremin, bouzouki, violin, accordion, melodica, sousaphone, double bass but to name a few.

I had the the privilege of working in some of Western Europe's most prestigious venues e.g. Union Chapel (London), Paradiso Noord (Amsterdam) Kriens (Sudpol) and De Casino (Sint Niklas). 

All in all it was a challenging but ultimately thrilling experience in which I learnt a lot and became comfortable teching/backlinging for a large range of instruments, in demanding circumstances, on some of Europe's most prestigious stages.
