David Carette’s career as a creative director and scenographer have naturally led him to do his own film direction and photography.
David was born in 1972 and is based in Brussels. He studied Architecture and Photography. From late 90’s until 2009 he worked as Art Director and MD for two art direction companies, in charge of Brussels, Paris and London offices, carrying out scenography projects in London New York, Milan Beijing, Moscow, and more, for clients as Swarovski, Doverstreet Market, Chanel, etc.
David set up his own creative studio “Demain, il fera jour.” in 2009, specialised in creative direction and scenography, and is operating worldwide.
His creative energy is now, strongly, centred around his work as a photographer and film director. In his films and pictures there is the elaboration of a world, a story. He pictured some of the most beautiful women in the fashion scene, Delfine Bafort, Manon Leloup, Yumi Lambert, Georgia May Jagger, Pauline Van der Cruysse…
His most mediatised campaign is the “Always Restless” Mercedes-Benz worldwide fashion campaign, starring Georgia May Jagger.
