This position focuses primarily on the development of the new pipeline, as well as maintaining the current system in a CG animation feature production environment. You will increase your understanding of the computer animation process and USD platform to help implementing the best tools for the new pipeline. You will also keep guaranteeing the well-functioning of our current pipeline, and support artists in the different departments.

Profile

As a candidate for this position your goal is to become well-versed in managing an asset pipeline and to provide articulate assistance to artists. Furthermore you are always on the lookout for opportunities to offload repetitive work onto automated processes and to streamline the workflow. You want to raise the bar and be part of the creative process that results in animated feature films.

You have a sound background in software development as you will perform full life cycle development. You are pragmatic, proactive, autonomous and eager to solve technical problems.

Position Requirements

Position requirements :
   Bachelor degree in computer science or equivalent experience
   Expertise in a modern dynamic scripting language, preferably Python
   C++ knowledge required
   Proven experience with Qt, preferably PySide
   Good spoken and correct written English

Pluses :
   Maya API knowledge
   USD knowledge
   Knowledge of any the following technologies: Alembic, Arnold, Git, SQL, Bash
   A professional proficiency in French is useful
